Does a Fiat 500 need a special small battery or will any compact battery work?

Hi everyone, I'm hoping there are some fellow Fiat owners here because I'm getting really mixed answers from different garages and I don't know who to believe. I have a cute little 2018 Fiat 500 that I use for running errands around the city and parking in tight spots. The car has been great for what I need but yesterday morning it wouldn't start at all. No click, no lights on the dashboard, just completely dead. I called a friend who knows a bit about cars and he said it's probably the battery and that Fiats use a smaller than average battery because the engine bay is so tiny. He told me I can't just buy any battery from the supermarket because most of them won't fit properly. So I started calling around to different garages to ask about a replacement. One place told me they could order a battery for me and quoted a price that seemed reasonable. Another place told me that Fiats need a specific type of battery with a certain terminal orientation or else the cables won't reach. A third place told me that any battery with the right physical dimensions will work fine regardless of the brand. Now I'm really confused because these are three different answers from three different professionals. I started searching online to learn more about what my car actually needs. I found a website that specializes in Fiat car battery replacement Abu Dhabi and it had a lot of detailed information about the specific battery sizes and specifications for different Fiat models. Apparently the Fiat 500 uses what's called a DIN size battery which is common in European cars but not as common as the Japanese or American sizes. The website also mentioned that some Fiat models have a battery management system that needs to be reset after replacing the battery or else the car might not charge the new battery properly. That's something none of the garages mentioned to me on the phone. So now I'm wondering if I should just go to a specialist who works on Italian cars regularly rather than trusting a general garage that might not know the little quirks of Fiats. Has anyone here replaced the battery in their Fiat 500 and can share what brand and size they used? Did you do it yourself or hire someone? And did you need to do any kind of computer reset afterwards or did the car just accept the new battery with no issues? I really don't want to spend money on the wrong battery or damage my car by doing something incorrectly. Any advice from actual Fiat owners would be so appreciated. Thanks everyone so much for reading.
