What daily habits keep film edges from lifting? I just had mine installed

Three days ago I picked up my grey Toyota Fortuner with clear film on the front bumper, hood and mirrors, and I am already a little obsessed with keeping it perfect. The installer gave me a quick talk at the counter, but I was so excited that I only remember half of it. Something about edges and heat and not rushing. Since then I have been asking around, and everyone has a different opinion. My brother says the film will be fine as long as I do not touch it for a week. My neighbor says the real danger is the car wash, because some places spray the corners with a strong jet and that is how edges start to lift. A friend at work told me to park in shade when I can and avoid slamming the hood, since the air pressure can stress the corners. Another colleague said never to rub dry dust off the surface with a cloth, because it can catch the edge and pull it up. I read a page on last night to understand why film peels, and it explained how heat, poor prep, rough washing and stretched corners can all play a part, which showed me that some of it is in my hands and some is up to the installer. That is why I have been looking for Quick tips for stopping PPF from lifting, because I would rather prevent a problem than fix one later. My questions are easy. How far should the pressure washer stay from the edges, if I use one at all? Is it okay to use wax or sealant on top of the film, or does it affect the glue near the corners? How often should I check the edges, and what does an early lift look like? And if I notice something small, should I go back to the shop right away or wait a few weeks? Please share what you do to keep yours looking good. Thanks for reading.
