Personal experience with an internet store

Post by Gilbertdit »

I think it is better to build a small collection of reliable products than to buy random cheap things. Taking a few minutes to research before buying can save a lot of money and frustration. I also check if the store explains how to measure PD and frame size clearly. Sometimes I experiment with different materials just to see how they feel in daily life. Otherwise they become clutter in the closet after the trend is over.

If anyone is interested in real user experiences, I sometimes write short notes about the shops I test.
You can find one of the pages here:

It makes it easier to compare with an old pair of glasses that already fits well. Reviews that mention long term use are more valuable than comments written on day one. Nobody wants pretty shoes that hurt after ten minutes of walking. I also started paying attention to how websites display sizing charts for clothing. I think sharing honest feedback helps other buyers avoid the same mistakes. This is why I like reading and posting on forums and community websites. Now I try to read as many real user reviews as possible before I buy anything.

Maybe this is useful for someone.
I only wanted to share a bit of real world usage.
