Handmade or Not?

Post by RioRoma »

I came across an article about handmade souvenirs and it really made me rethink how I shop when I travel. There’s something different about bringing home an item shaped by a real person instead of a factory line. The piece feels connected to the place, the culture, and the moment you found it. Here’s the link if you want to read it: article about handmade souvenirs.

I’ve started choosing small artisan pieces more often — sometimes they cost a bit more, but they carry a story that lasts longer than any generic trinket. Curious how others feel: do you go for handmade items or stick to practical souvenirs?
